Webbing materials we stock
Each fibre behaves differently in sun, water and under load, so choose the material to suit the job:
- Polyester webbing: strong, stretches very little and handles sun and rain well. The usual choice for ratchet straps, tie-downs and outdoor covers.
- Nylon webbing: very strong and hard-wearing, with a little give. Good for straps that are carried or worn.
- Polypropylene webbing: light, economical and does not absorb water. Suits bag handles and light-duty straps.
- Cotton webbing: soft, with a natural look, for bags, belts, handles and craft work that stays dry.
- Elastic webbing: stretch webbing, including 50mm elastic upholstery webbing for couch and chair seats.

Buy exactly what you need by the metre, or save on bigger jobs with a full roll in 50m or 100m lengths. Buckles, slides and ratchets are sized by webbing width, so match the width to the fitting you plan to use.
Custom straps sewn to your specifications
Need a finished strap rather than loose webbing? We stitch webbing straps to your length and specification, with buckles, ratchets or both attached: tie-down and ratchet straps, cam buckle straps, and straps for covers, canopies and equipment.
We also stock the fittings separately: cam buckles, ratchets, D-rings, tri-glides, ladder locks, O-rings, S-hooks, carabiner hooks and steel slides.
Upholstery webbing and re-webbing
For furniture we sell 50mm elastic upholstery webbing and the webbing clips to fix it. If you would rather not do the job yourself, bring the couch or chair in and we will re-web it in our own workshop.
